Ayesha Takia

Ayesha Takia is an Indian actress and model born on April 10, 1986, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She began her career as a model at a young age and soon ventured into acting.

Takia made her acting debut in Bollywood with the film “Taarzan: The Wonder Car” in 2004. While the film received mixed reviews, her performance garnered attention, and she won the Filmfare Best Debut Award for her role. Following this, she appeared in films like “Dil Maange More!!” (2004) and “Shaadi No. 1” (2005), establishing herself as a promising newcomer in the industry.

One of her most significant roles came in the 2006 film “Dor,” where she portrayed a young widow seeking justice for her husband’s death. Her performance was widely praised by critics and audiences alike, earning her a Filmfare Best Actress nomination.

In 2009, Ayesha Takia starred opposite Salman Khan in the action film “Wanted,” which emerged as a major commercial success. Her role in the movie, along with the popular song “Jalwa,” further elevated her popularity in the industry.
