Sameera Reddy is an Indian actress who predominantly works in the Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil film industries. Born on December 14, 1980, in Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, India, she hails from a Telugu-speaking family. Reddy’s father, Chintapoli Reddy, was a businessman, while her mother, Nakshatra Reddy, was a microbiologist. She has two siblings, Meghna Reddy, a former VJ and model, and Sushma Reddy, also an actress and model.

Sameera Reddy began her career as a model and appeared in several commercials before venturing into acting. She made her acting debut in the Tamil film industry with the movie “Vaaranam Aayiram” in 2008, directed by Gautham Menon. Her performance in the film earned her critical acclaim.

Reddy gained further recognition with her roles in films like “Race” (2008), “De Dana Dan” (2009), and “Aakrosh” (2010). She also made appearances in Telugu and Tamil films, establishing herself as a versatile actress across different languages.

In 2014, Sameera Reddy married Akshai Varde, a businessman who runs a custom motorcycle business. The couple has two children, a son named Hans Varde and a daughter named Nyra Varde.
